If you’ve ever stayed at an iconic property like New York’s Pierre Hotel or the SLS at Beverly Hills—or dined at concepts by celebrity chefs like Richard Blais and José Andrés—chances are you've already experienced my work. Over the past two decades, I’ve led marketing and storytelling for some of the biggest names in hospitality, including Hyatt, Sheraton, and Westin.
At my core, I’m a strategist who loves turning a creative vision into measurable market share. But my path here wasn’t a straight line—and that’s my biggest superpower.
Before diving deep into hotel and restaurant marketing, I spent seven years in TV news reporting and production, which taught me how to find the heart of a story and move fast. From there, I transitioned into PR agency work, where my campaigns earned six HSMAI Adrian Awards, while managing accounts like Hilton Caribbean & Latin America, Kayak.com, and Pisco Porton. I even left a mark in the industry textbooks, getting quoted in David Meerman Scott’s The New Rules of Marketing & PR and John Doorley’s Rethinking Reputation for my work on Tourism Queensland’s viral "Best Job in the World" campaign.
Because I’ve worked in journalism, PR, and brand marketing, I know how to look at your business from every possible angle.
Whether we’re building integrated marketing plans, maximizing ROI through cross-channel digital strategies, or navigating the intersection of social media influence and media relations, I bring a quick-thinking, versatile approach to building consumer awareness.
Storytelling isn't just my day job—it’s a lifelong passion. I’m also an independent author and blogger. As a New Yorker, my dating blog Single Gal in The City built an engaged, loyal following and even caught the eye of Marriott Hotels, which sponsored a two-month road trip for me to explore urban dating across the U.S. Blogging turned into my book, Notes From A Single Gal In The City, which boasts a five-star reader rating on Amazon. I’ve been an avid diarist since I was seven years old and recently started handwritten volume number 111. My take on modern dating has landed me quotes in outlets like the Associated Press, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Post, Good Housekeeping, Today.com, and Glamour.com.
I live in Orlando with my podcaster/author husband Steve Spears and our beloved Shih Tzu Benji.
